[SOLVED]lightdm won't start anymore if a greeter is selected.

I used an inaccessible background for the greeter awhile back, and now even if I uninstall and reinstall lightdm and greeter packs, it cannot find the greeter.  It was working fine until I tried changing the background.

Here's the output when I test lightdm:

I'm not sure if this is a serious problem (maybe it can simply use built-in default config?) but you could at least address the issue.

I think it was when I tried changing Pantheon's default background. I put in:

/usr/share/backgrounds/file.jpg

Switched it back to the default background and it still doesn't work.

Guess, I'll have to roll back. Are there any other logs that could help me find out what happened?

But it seems like it can't find the config file at all. Then it doesn't matter what you put in.

I got it to work by changing the lightdm.conf entry to

 greeter-session = lightdm-pantheon-greeter 

I just had to remove the .conf.

I can't get a background to load, even if I give it the default address, though.
