Installed chromium on a fresh install and found that it did not launch. Tried launching from the terminal to see if I could capture any useful output and received this:
[1100:1100:0907/163601:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(345)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process
I'm using Nvidia Driver Version: 352.41 on a GTX 960 gpu.
I've tried googling these key words with no luck, I've also tried reinstalling chromium.
Any advice on what to look into to solve this issue?

Changed the drivers to the xf86-video-vesa package and still get the same output.

Apologies for the waste of time if you read this thread. Turns out that chromium was hiding in a workspace because a default configuration in bspwm set it to do so.
