It's certainly not the chipset. I haven't had hardware related problems with Linux ever since I learned to make sure exactly what components one gets with a certain product before the purchase. Some mainboards (regardless of chipset or AMD/Intel) might come with problematic bluetooth or wifi controllers, or a not-so-common NIC or audio chipset, but storage problems like yours ... nope.
In order to get somewhere:
- latest BIOS version? (should be "2501")
- everything connected to the grey SATA ports? (grey=Intel; black=ASMedia)
- SATA mode is "AHCI"?
- how do you boot and how did you prepare the boot medium?

Have you seen this?
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

I've the latest bios, for Arch, the HDD are on the gray, just one are on the black.
For the SATA mode, it's is "AHCI" And finally, i not use the uefi, just the normal booting(not fastboot, not secureboot, not other to conflict.
Have you seen this?
It's really not the same problem
And additionnal problem, i can't make a log, because it's before mappings any HDD

After 1 year and 6 retarded months, the problem was just from ASMEDIA can't support ATAPI command(optical drive), result of slow boot and freeze when booting on linux. just swap one hdd with the optical drive and the problem is solved
What a big loss of time for nothing ![]()
@byte: when you said to me to check the drive on grey + black, i was so dumb to not think than the optical drive would be the error ![]()
Thank for the help gived o/
