Plasma Dolphin - randomly misses files while copying

There is a peculiar thing with the dolphin file manager. While copying large amount of data from remote machine, I select the folder and paste. After the copying is finished I find that many of the folders are missing in the destination.

And you don't think whatever "remote" software you are using might be responsible?

Hi Awebb, Didn't get what you say. I installed samba client and tried using smb://192.168.1.118/e in dolphin address bar to access the network folder. Are you referring to something else?

Re: Plasma Dolphin - randomly misses files while copying

You could try using dolphin4 instead of dolphin and see if it does the same thing. I'm having issues with dolphin(5) myself, with it randomly saying it expected a folder but got a file, or that permissions cannot be changed when moving files, but no such issues with dolphin4.

Got the same problems with current dolphin. It helps to operate in two completely separate Dolphin windows to avoid the "is a folder, but a file was expected" error.
