I finshed the install and I have been able to resolve most issues myself.
I need help with 2 issues please:
I have an internal SSD drive with an ext4 linux date partition that wont appear in my file manager.
It shows in Gparted, and there is a correcponding line in fstab that seems to be commented out ( a # at the front).
How can I get this drive to mount and be visible in Thunar? I am using xfce4. It mounts fine in other linux distros. It is listed as device /dev/sda.
The other issue is installing my printer driver.
It appears to be available in yaourt, with "yaourt -S brother-mfc-j870dw".
I have installed it successfully in the past with Manjaro.
I am getting an error stating: "error: target not found: lib32-glibc".
When I try to install lib32-glibs it says target not found.
Thanks for your help with these last few issues.

If you want the partition to be mounted at boot, you need to create an entry for it in the fstab file as described here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fstab
The line is indeed commented out if there's a '#' at the start. If you need help creating the entry, don't forget to post the line you currently have / tried to use.
If you just want to mount it from time to time, but the disk doesn't show up in Thunar, you probably need to install gvfs, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fi … y#Mounting
As for the second issue, are you on 64-bit and did you enable the [multilib] repository? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Multilib

Please familiarize yourself with Makepkg instead of using yaourt. see: http://jasonwryan.com/blog/2013/04/09/helpers/

Thank you for your help!
Your multilib advice solved that issue.
Still having no luck mounting the drive.
Here is my fstab file. As I said, all my other drives mount and are listed in my file manager sidebar, except for the 2 partitions on /dev/sda.
#
# /etc/fstab: static file system information
#
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
UUID=4fe2d8ac-2b1f-4a98-8d5b-77129311802c
/dev/sda1 / ext4 rw,relatime,data=ordered 0 1
UUID=bea59a85-16ee-4261-8268-38d90cecf0de
/dev/sda2 none swap defaults 0 0
Any help you can provide is appreciated!
Thanks again!

Your "/etc/fstab" file says you have two partitions:
"/dev/sda1" will be mounted as "/". I think it's usually called "Filesystem" in a file manager. If your computer boots, then "/" is mounted correctly.
"/dev/sda2" is swap space. It can't be mounted.

Thats what is weird. Sda2 is actually a vfat data partition for my windows 10. It's not swap.

The UUIDs in fstab match those for /dev/sdd{1,2} in the lsblk output. Those /dev/sdX names are not stable (so sdd may have been sda during installation), the UUIDs are, so you should use those in fstab (or LABELs, but definitely not both UUIDs and devices names as in the fstab you posted).

So it appears my fstab file that was generated during install is no longer accurate.
Is it possible to generate a new fstab to reflect what I have in the machine right now?
Thanks

You can just alter it by hand: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fstab
