Printer doesnt work after reboot

I have a hp laserjet 1020. I installed cups and enabled it as well. I also installed foo2zjs using their instructions on their website. I used localhost:631 to add my printer and printed out a page. However after rebooting my printer wont print. System-config-printer would show the status at "Processing" when I try to print. Please help. I tried modprobe usblp and then rmmod usblp but no avail. I know this printer works on Linux because it worked on Linux mint 17.2 after installing the foo2zjs driver.
