Arch crashes with kernel panic

Hello everyone.

Sometimes Arch crashes with next output:

Kernel panic - not syncing: Timeout: Not all cpus entered broadcast exception handler

And then reboots in 30 seconds. The easiest way to reproduce this crash for me is to launch makepkg -s for mdm-display-manager.
But I also suspect that Eclipse (which crashes system every time i try to launch it) is connected to this issue too.
Sometimes Arch crashes without any reason too and I remember, that some other programs crashed Arch with the same output.

Did anyone also meet this issue? Maybe someone know the solution?

Laptop: MSI GE62 2QC Apache
CPU: Intel Core i7-5700HQ 2.7GHz

What additional information should I give?

I don't think that processor requires it but, to be sure, have you installed and properly configured the Intel Microcode updates?

have you installed and properly configured the Intel Microcode updates?

After your advice I've installed it (not sure if properly configured) it. It made mdm-display-manager to build successfully, but Eclipse still crashes the system.
Thank you anyway, I didn't know about Microcode.

Thanks for the link, but i still don't see any solution even there. This issue has not gone yet and it is very annoying.

Yeah, i used this article. Output seems like the second option, like there is no microcode update for the CPU. But im not sure, if the same output could be if I configured microcode the wrong way.

My processor is also i7 5700HQ.I disabled the Intel SpeedStep and now the system runs well.
Although the CPU is locked at 2.7Ghz,but that's enough if you don't do high performance computing or something.
BTW，maybe updating to 4.2.1-1 will help？You can have a try.

I already have 4.2.1-1.

I disabled the Intel SpeedStep

These are hardware bugs triggered by userspace, there is little chance that using different kernel would help.

Better check your hardware vendor's website for BIOS updates.

Not sure how to do that.

it's in BIOS,just press DEL while starting up and find speedstep.
