Microphone not working on Asus X550L

I've installed all alsa/pulse/gstreamer/etc plugins.

Audio output is working just fine, but I can't get the microphone to work.

If I run:

cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec

I get:

Codec: Intel Haswell HDMI
Codec: Realtek ALC3236

If I run:

lspci | grep -i audio

I get:

00:03.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT HD Audio Controller (rev 0b)
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 8 Series HD Audio Controller (rev 04)

My alsamixer is showing as follows:

Still, no sound being recorded.

Where do I go from here?
