When I plugged the keyboard into my computer, all 4 lights briefly
blink, I hear a tick and then they turn off.
The beeping noise still works for every keypress.
Rebooting does not fix the problem.
Replugging the cable does not fix the problem.
It seems that there is no communication between the computer and the
keyboard.

Did you test this keyboard in The Other Operating System or BIOS/UEFI setup on the same machine and/or on other machines?
Check dmesg for any funky stuff appearing when you connect the keyboard and hit few keys.

I opened up the keyboard and one of the cables was broken.
I fixed that and everything was working again.
