So for the past week or so, I haven't been able to run a system wide upgrade via pacman (pacman -Syu) and it's been due to ncurses having the weirdest of issues.
The error I get is:
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libcurses.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libcursesw.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libform.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libformw.so exists in filesystem

lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libmenuw.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libncurses.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libncursesw.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libpanel.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/lib32/libpanelw.so exists in filesystem
lib32-ncurses: /usr/share/licenses/lib32-ncurses exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded
I'm a bit hesitant to just delete these files due to scary stories of people's BASH not working afterwards. Does anyone know what's going on?
Any help is much appreciated!

Don't be worried about removing them, nothing "lib32" is critical.
