Kernel stuck at boot

Hi all, on my newly installed arch system I'm experiecing the following:
Every 1 over 3 boots, the kernel hangs for about 2 minutes after the message "Decompressing Linux. Parsing ELF... done. Booting the kernel."
After that, the following appears:
"rcu_preempt detected stalls on CPU/tasks: {0} (detected by 1, t=18002 jiffies, g=-277, c=-278, q=17)"
Or similar messages (like {1 2 3} replacing {0} or with value q=11).
After a few seconds boot process continues normally.

I'm running kernel 4.1.6-1-ARCH.
I have found no relevant entries in the journal.

I'm not using wireless so the link above is not relevant.
