Packaging N1 Mailclient

Hello,
I want to package the following software https://www.nylas.com/N1/getting-started/ and I am searching for co-maintainers.. somebody interested?

The N1 Mailclient is bloated and a dependency hell.. but I am sure that some people would use it regulary

Re: Packaging N1 Mailclient

Hi Shibumi,

just saw your post while I was searching information about N1 on Arch. I would like to support you but have no experience about the packaging / maintenance process (yet). So probably I'm not the perfect co-maintainer for you...
Anyways, I'm willing to learn and it would be great to gain some experience.

Cheers

Re: Packaging N1 Mailclient

Any news on this?
I'd like to install N1 from AUR but my knowledge is limited to make a package myself. I hope somebody jumps in.

EDIT: I copied the files contained in the .deb file to /usr/ and everything seemed to be fine, but once I run nylas and configure my settings the app starts a boot loop in the loading screen and I can't use it. I don't know what's causing this.

Re: Packaging N1 Mailclient

It turned out there is already a package in the AUR called "n1". The loop is caused by the last version of freetype2, as stated in the aur page. You can see it here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/n1/

There's no point in having this thread open. Can a moderator close it? Thanks.
