Gtx840 and nvidia driver

Hi,

I'm running arch on my Asus UX303LN for about a year, but I keep getting issues with the graphic card. Since it got a 3200*1800 screen, I need it, but I don't really understand how it works and how I can make it work right.

So far I can use it, but it doesn't seems to be working at full power.

I've been on this forum since 3pm, searching answers and all, but I found nothing like my problem.

Here's the Xorg.0.log from /var/log

Besides several warnings it seems that there is some trouble with GLX (at 3.536s). But the glx module is loaded at 3.343. So WTH is going on?

Other thing, glxinfo is not working at all

The package xf86-video-nouveau is not installed (I removed it), but the card seems to be using it

Does anyone knows what's going on?

Thanks.

Re: Gtx840 and nvidia driver

No, scratch that.

Diagnosis:
You have a laptop with integrated Intel CPU graphics, plus a dedicated Nvidia 840M.
You installed nvidia-libgl and the other nvidia packages.
Currently your Xorg uses the Intel graphics, which in turn can't use GLX acceleration because you'd need mesa-libgl for that, which you can't install, since it conflicts with nvidia-libgl.
You can either get https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Hybrid_graphics to work, or get rid of the nvidia packages if the intel driver (plus mesa-libgl) is sufficient for your needs.

I'm not using this laptop for gaming, so it's fine.
But I dont want to waste my GC.
