deskbar applet won't load

Starting deskbar always crashes.

This is the output when I run deskbar applet from command line:

[18:09][tom@mouse256:/opt/gnome/lib/deskbar-applet]$ ./deskbar-applet
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./deskbar-applet", line 13, in ?
    import gtk, gnomeapplet
ImportError: No module named gnomeapplet

gnome-applets is installed, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone does?

Re: deskbar applet won't load

pacman -Q |grep python
gnome-python 2.12.3-1
gnome-python-desktop 2.14.0-1
gnome-python-extras 2.14.0-1
python 2.4.2-1

I hope this helps

Re: deskbar applet won't load

Strange, because module gnomeapplet should be in gnome-python-desktop package:

/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gnomeapplet.la is owned by gnome-python-desktop 2.14.0-1
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gnomeapplet.so is owned by gnome-python-desktop 2.14.0-1

So, maybe try reinstall it...
