gstreamer-vaapi crashes totem

after installing gstreamer-vaapi totem can't play any videos , with the following error when launched from CLI :

(totem:30625): Cogl-WARNING **: driver/gl/cogl-framebuffer-gl.c:157: GL error (1280): Invalid enumeration value

other players that utilize gstreamer-vaapi are working fine ( like firefox ) ,

all the gst & gstreamer0.10 packages are installed , tried removing gstreamer0.10 packages but the issue persist  ,

am on intel haswell graphics ( i5-4250U ) , with xf86-video-intel and libva-intel-driver .

Re: gstreamer-vaapi crashes totem

I'm encountering the same issue. Removing gstreamer-vaapi is a temporary workaround.

Things I've tried.
1. Downgraded gstreamer-vaapi  to 0.6.0
2. Used xf86-video-intel-git from AUR
