Hi,
I have an arch box with some samba shares that I can't connect to when I set
hosts allow = 192.168.178.0. 127.
When I comment out that line, everything works fine.
When it is set and I run e.g. smbtree from another Linux machine on my local network, the samba logfile says
[2015/10/12 21:55:19.304446, 0] ../source3/lib/access.c:338(allow_access)
Denied connection from fd00::.....:4cba (fd00::.....:4cba)
The IPv6 address shown is the same I get for "inet6 addr" on the client machine in ifconfig.
Is this a problem with my smb.conf or with my local network setup?
any hints are greatly appreciated

Is my problem even related to IPv6? I expected to see the local IPv4 addresses of my network in the log.
