Hey guy's,
I've a little problem with my marvell sata controller, which is not working when i pass "intel_iommu=on" to my kernel and I've to use this option because it doesn't generate the IOMMU-Groups to passthroug my grafics card.
Now i like to Patch my Kernel so I can use iommu but i've never done something like that bevore and I don't know how to apply a specific patch. And I don't know if the Patch is compatibel with my kernel.
Here is the bug from the tracer: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42679
The patch i'd like to apply is this one: https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipe … 05279.html
or that one: https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/3/7/582
My kernel is running with: linux 4.2.3-1
Can anyone help me with my problem so I can create a kernel and fix the marvell sata bug.
LG, Nefingar
PS: Sorry for my bad english, havn't used to speak or write in english for a year ![]()

You can build the package from ABS adding in the patch or patches you want.

Thanks for you're fast answer.
I was able to build a kernel but without tha patch.
I tried to follow this page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Patching_in_ABS) but I'm not able to find the source code for the patch, only an .obj file on the first Patch.
Please help me again.
Edit: my fault, i was just a bit silly and didn't look on those previous messages, there was an git entry and I'm trying that out right now.
