I can confirm the problems. Neither systemd 227, nor the latest linux-grsec version work. The boot process stops right after “loading initramfs”.
I had to revert do systemd 226 on my desktop computer (regular linux kernel) and my server (grsec-kernel), and additionally switch to the regular linux kernel on my server to properly boot.

Anyway, gr security is a nightmare cause is not for graphics environments. I know is a very discussed theme, but other security solution made by developers will be more than welcome. I think that's the point to have a rolling distribution. Is someone using rbac?. Is just a nightmare. This issue is not caused by Arch is exclusively a problem of gr security.

The solution I posted before was when if you removed usb system hang. Have anyone the grsec with the problem of the usb fixed?.
Update 20 October still did not solve the problem.

Yes, that wasn't even a grsecurity-specific bug, as far as I understand:

The system hanging when unplugging USB has been solved with October 13th patch. What version are you using?
