Cursor jumping one line up while typing

Hi All,
I hope you are all well even scattered on the globe.

I have experience this weird cursor behavior when my cursor is jumping to different place while typing.
I am not sure what is causing this. I have LXDE desktop environment.

I am not entirely sure if there is any keyboard shortcut, however I type English text so I don't use any special characters.
Is there anything predefined on the system I can look at?
Please advise.
Thank you

Re: Cursor jumping one line up while typing

Hi, The touchpad is maybe too sensitive and tap-to-click is putting the cursor back where you originally clicked.  Try disabling it and seeing if that makes a difference?  I have disabled this as I messed around with synaptics settings for ages to try and get it right but there was no happy balance for me.  Disabling touchpad when typing caused a horrible delay between typing and the touchpad re-enabling again and if I dropped the delay it then became pointless.

Hi dcdriving. I have disabled tapping on Synaptics and see how it goes. Thank you for clues.
