[SOLVED] JVM Crashes with Oracle Java

Heyho folks,

After setting up my new system for some reason the Oracle JVM keeps crashing. The OpenJDK jvm works, but I really depend on the oracle one.

I installed it by using the AUR and it seems like no other has these problems as there are no comments about problems.
Apps which crash are for example geogebra or IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm or Clion.

Here are some crash reports:

http://pastebin.com/kY4CBQEp
http://pastebin.com/GUXsN0sA
http://pastebin.com/LnTgKhzq

All 3 are different and crash at some unspecified point.

Any ideas are welcome. OpenJDK for gui heavy application is very painful hmm

Max

EDIT: An application which is working is minecraft for some reason. Maybe because it isn't using some gui framework? Just OpenGL?
EDIT: Maybe there is a problem with some missing files, since there seems to be a FileNotFoundException in /HUDSON/workspace/8-2-build-linux-amd64/jdk8u60/4407/hotspot/src/share/vm/prims/jni.cpp, line 709
EDIT: Using the jdk from the oracle site manually, didn't help eigther

Re: [SOLVED] JVM Crashes with Oracle Java

oh, ok found some releating information: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=203554 and https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/46619

Downgrading to this version of glib2 solved the problem: http://seblu.net/a/archive/packages/g/g … pkg.tar.xz

EDIT: Or use this version: http://pkgbuild.com/~heftig/glib2-2.46. … pkg.tar.xz
