[SOLVED] Device missing in file manager after running umount; mount -a

My system has a few extra HDDs, i mount them in /media/* with entries in /etc/fstab
Thunar shows them just fine under "Devices" in the left column
I used "umount /media/mydisk", and then i used "mount -a" again and now that device is missing in thunar, even after i rebooted my system.
How can i fix this? Where does Thunar get the devices from?

The device is not just hidden in thunar, and i tried a few other file managers and they had the same problem, so  i guess the problem is not with thunar itself, but from what it gets the devices.
The device is mounted and works just fine, i can browse to /media/mydisk to access it.
