Custom Kernel - Changing the config.x86_64 file

At the top of this file it says "Automatically generated file; DO NOT EDIT"

I want to change some of the settings... so where exactly do I go about doing that?

Re: Custom Kernel - Changing the config.x86_64 file

In the nconfig which you will uncomment in the PKGBUILD... Probably the safest.  You can copy the new .config out for the buIld directory no update the checksums.  If you know what you're doing, edit directly (not recommended since some options have dependencies which nconfig knows and you likely do not.)

Re: Custom Kernel - Changing the config.x86_64 file

Thanks. I will freely admit I do not know what I'm doing tongue (though I'm doing it all in virtual machines so if things break it's not the end of the world) I'm attempting to change FSCACHE settings to solve the problem I posted here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=204226
