My wireless device (Ralink RT3290) only connects to wireless networks if rt3290sta-dkms is installed with DKMS. I was able to do this in previous kernels with
# dkms autoinstall
# reboot
but in the 4.2.4 kernel, it appears to be installed but it won't work at all.
# dkms install rt3290/2.6.0.0rev1
Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/rt3290/2.6.0.0rev1/source ->

I found this in dmesg:
[ 3.266620] rt3290sta: module license 'unspecified' taints kernel.
[ 3.266626] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint
[ 3.268517] register rt2860
What does this mean?

Hello betseg,
Before I begin, keep in mind I do not consider myself a network guru. I will do my best to assist, though caution is advised, because I would hate to cause more problems for you. Moving on...
I have the exact same card. The device (Ralink RT3290) has generally been problematic, across multiple OS's, and the whole nine yards. From my observations, it seems that a couple of things can be wrong at any given time. The driver(s), module(s), blacklisted drivers, and of course the kernel. From cateee's kernel database support for the device has been added (although experimental) and is in kernel 4.2.
Let's start with some module and driver info. In a terminal, please paste back the following outputs:
lspci -k | grep -i -e rt2 -e rt3
cat /etc/modprobe.d/* | grep -i -e rt2 -e rt3
That should tell us drivers in use, and blacklisted drivers. The -i is used for case-insensitivity, so we catch all of it.
EDIT:
I just noticed that this is the [testing] repo forum, which I do not use. You may want to use the normal repositories for the driver. I say this because on my end, I have a near-clean install working using the rt2800pci drivers and modules. I also installed NetworkManager instead of connman recently, and that seems to have helped too. Note that previously I had little luck with the rt3290sta-dkms from the AUR.
I hope you can get the card working though! It is a real pain having to use USB wifi or otherwise just to connect on a laptop.

I think my wireless device/card is broken Arch iso won't connect to the internet, too.

Well, if you have an HP Pavilion G6 (the model of laptop I have) it is really easy to change the adapter. I changed my adapter from a bad chip to the exact same chip from my sisters un-used and identical laptop. On the G6, one screw removes enough plating to reveal the hard drive, RAM, and wifi slot. When I changed my adapter I had to remove 2 power chords, another screw, and slide it (the bad adapter) out. I doubt it will be unbearably hard for other laptop models.
I've heard that atheros chips work better under linux, do correct me If I am wrong. cateee's database should have some info on which cards are fully supported out of the box. And by "out of the box" I mean that the card is supported fully by recent kernels.
If you aren't in the market for a new PCI adapter, USB wifi isn't *that* bad. I'd recommend having a stand for it though. Or a USB extension chord. That way there is less risk of breaking the adapter or the USB slot. I've broken an aircard and a wifi adapter because the connection to the machine was rigid, and rigid things break.

No, I have HP Pavillion Ultrabook 15. I'm using my phone's USB tether thing to connect to the internet.
Also, a friend of mine had problems with an Atheros, I'm not feeling like using it.
