I have an old HP compaq nx6326 laptop, which has a Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 3500+. On upgrading today to kernel 4.2.4-1 x886_64 the machine became unusably sluggish, with CPU at 100% for every non-trivial task (eg opening a browser). Downgrading to 4.2.3-1 fixed the issue. I don't make much use of the machine and have not carried out any other tests. I am postling simply to report the issue in case someone else comes looking for it. If anyone wants further system information I will be happy to provide it.
Edit : Also, the machine does not reboot on "systemctl reboot" under the 4.2.4-1 kernel. It shuts down but then the screen remains black, requiring a hard reset.
