Hi Everyone,
I have the DELL XPS 13 2005 (9343 model). It has UEFI. I have a dual boot with Ubuntu Gnome.
I'd like to erase Windows, and install Arch instead. But all of the installation methods I find with Google suggest to erase the whole /dev/sda (which contains both OSes).
Is that possible to replace Windows?
Thank you.
[EDIT]
I installed over Windows partition with Architect Linux installer. Very easy and the installer covers everything. HTH.

Welcome to the Arch Linux forums!

What about that one official beginner-friendly installation guide? It teaches you how to do partitioning/formatting from the installation medium, and with that gained knowlege, you might be able to set up your disk in a fashion that preserves the Ubuntu installation.

@ayekat - Thanks, I re-read the Beginners guide, and found what I missed in the first read:
# mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdxY
With that will try to continue
