Laptop IO error freezing on battery power but not plugged in

Hi I have had a problem with my SSD and Acer C720 laptop.
Whenever I'm using it without the powercord plugged in it works for a bit and then it freezes
if i do a ctrl+ alt+ F3 for example it keep's looping the following message.

[ 1104.914608] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 67432416
[ 1104.914719] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 67432416

The wierd thing is when I have the powercord plugged in it can be on for days without any problems.

I have a thought before i had a sawp partition, then I reinstalled the system and figured i dont need it.
and after that is when the problems started.

can i add a swap through the terminal again or do I have to reinstall the system once more?
this is the reason I havnt done so yet since i really needed it for school and could have the powercord plugged in
aswell as daily backups to the cloud. Buth now the exams are over so i figured it was time to fix it...

the second thought is that the SSD is going bad. But if so in my mind the same problems would occur regardles
the laptop is on battery or got the powercord plugged in.

I've tried bootin with

libata.force=noncq

in grub but it makes no difference

so any thought is greatly appreciated
and if you want to see any specific messages etc let me now
