Why did the Popcorn Time packages disappear?

Just curious. Were they taken down due to legal stuff or just because the website was taken down and the project migrated, or what?

I know for certain that popcorntime, popcorntime-git and popcorntime-bin have been migrated, but they just disappeared.

Re: Why did the Popcorn Time packages disappear?

The packages were deleted as the service was taken down.

it does appear to be gone, except for Anime, which is still working.

Re: Why did the Popcorn Time packages disappear?

Thanks for the replies. I was aware that PT was taken down, but I thought that the packages would try to workaround that, not just disappear, it looked like a lot of work went into them.

Re: Why did the Popcorn Time packages disappear?

Looks like there are sources at popcorn-time.se/source.html if anyone wants to try making a PKGBUILD.
