First off: Thanks for taking your time to read this.
So, I haven't used my webcam (HD Pro Webcam C920) in over a month, but I haven't updated my guvcview (except for yesterday, as in trying out the -git version from AUR). So, my best guess is that a dependency is at fault or black magic, or the driver in the kernel for some reason.

What also seems to be happening now, which is more of a nuisance than a problem, but may be a symptom, is that the webcam takes much longer to be queried. Usually it takes about one to two seconds to pop up on my screen -- now it's more like a minute.
If you need more information, I'll be glad to provide it. I'm just a bit clueless as to what could be helpful.
TL;DR: Webcam takes much longer to pop up and no interface pops up with it -- only the camera feed.
