Acer vn7-591g fan issues

Hi there, bought a laptop, which is a cer vn7-591g, has a 4720hq cpu and a 860m, anyhow yesterday installed arch but since it didn't come with a ssd today i opened it up to place a ssd on it and remembered to turn on the laptop to see if everything was working and noticed the fans weren't spinning, so i installed lm-sensors, and it seems like the fans won't activate until the cpu gets to around 60c (it idles at 49-50ish), is there any way i can force the fans to be on? The bios has pretty much no options regarding fans or cpu stuff, tried pwmconfig but it said it couldn't detect anything.

Any ideas? Bit dangers since compiling linux-mainline for example the cpu temp jumped to 90ish C before the fans kicked in and brought it down to like 60-70C.

Would appreciate any help, or is this normal behaviour?

Cheers
