Putting an Arch installation onto a USB Stick from XFCE distro

Even though this is the Newbie Corner, I apologize in advance for such basic questions even after reading through the wiki since I am completely lost.

Can someone in as basic terms as possible describe to me what I need to do in order to get an Arch Linux installation onto a USB stick? According to the wiki (if I understood it correctly, which I doubt), if I'm running another Linux (version? distro? GNU? what's the word to use here?) then all that I need to do is use one of those four scripts on the wiki to have it install to the stick automatically. My issue is that I don't know which one I'm supposed to be using, considering I'm an extremely new user to Linux in general and I was told that Arch is a difficult starting point, but if you can manage you'll be much better off.

Thanks for the help in advance, guys.

Using dd is recommended, since it's the simplest: it copies the installation image, byte for byte, onto the USB stick.
