anopa: init system/service manager built around supervision suite s6

Hey there,

So as you now Arch only has one officially supported init system, systemd. And if you're fine with it and have no interest in alternatives whatsoever, this probably isn't of interest to you.
But if you're looking for or curious about possible alternatives, here's a new one: anopa. It's an init system/service manager built around the supervision suite s6.

It provides collection of tools & scripts that can be used for different stages of the boot process, leaving stage 2 to be handled by s6-svscan (a task it is designed for). Obviously long-run services will be supervised by s6, anopa taking care of one-shot services and dependencies between services.
It can also be used in the initramfs, so one-shot services are used to set things up on boot, and close things on shutdown.

For those interested, you can find out more on the official website, or looking into the source code (and the man pages). I've also written a post with an example, making an anopa-powered bootable ISO, with anopa being used in the initramfs as well, and of course a few example servicedirs.
And it is in the AUR, alongside a musl version for those who'd like that.

Cheers,
-j
