as the title says, Firefox is not displaying fonts properly. I'm not too sure why:

maybe it's better with microsoft font installed

Seems like your 'w' character somehow got replaced.
Just the small one too, not the capital. Perhaps reinstalling the font will fix this?

hmm, that lists like 50 fonts...do i need to reinstall each one of them??

i don't know the cause, but from my fresh install firefox show bad rendering fonts, when i install ms font the rendered fonts are good

@danangdk: which fonts did you install exactly? there are a few listed in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Microsoft_fonts

milk can you right click one of the elements that is mis rendered -> inspect elements -> then the fonts tab of the bottom right panel that appears should tell you what font firefox is using for that text.

things are getting weird: tbh, i haven't installed or changed anything, yet. neither have i restarted firefox. but the font issue seemed to vanish. any ideas why?
