Hey,
I have been testing arch in various virtual machines, to figure out how I would want to set it up. I finally bit the bullet, and wiped out my Fedora installation, and installed Arch today. I am running xfce4, went through and installed my drivers for graphics, etc. Everything is running perfectly. So I figured it was time to install steam, had a little trouble getting that working, but found a solution in the Arch forums which helped there. Now my only problem is every game I run, runs like crap. I am not sure where to begin on this, because like I said, prior I was running Fedora 21, (xfce spin), and everything worked perfectly. I was able to play the exact same games, with the only one giving issues being Ark, but that's because I am still running a 660ti.
So, on Fedora I could play modded minecraft, no issues. Ark, low/medium graphics, no issues.
Arch modded minecraft is not even playable, and Ark just sits there freaking out.
My first thought would be bad graphics drivers, but I am using the proprietary drivers from nvidia. Same as I was in Fedora. I am really hoping to be able to swap completely to Arch, as I like the ability to customize it from the ground up to suit my needs, but if I can't game on it, at least as well as I can with other distro's, then I am not sure that I will be able to use Arch.
Can anyone point me in a direction to look, to find a resolution to this?

What does `glxinfo` tell you?

Crap. I must have botched my graphics install, glxinfo is giving me nothing.

You should have 'nvidia', 'nvidia-utils' and 'nvidia-libgl' packages installed.
