Kate - Pate Python Plugins

Hi all.

I have ArchLinux with plasma. I would like to use kate for programming in python. However, the Python Plugins option is not available in my Kate, i.e., Settings > Configure Kate ... > Plugin Manager.

I did a google search but there doesn't seem to be much information related to this issue available. This thread seems like a similar issue but OP already has the Python Plugins option available. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=180132 whereas this one suggest I build kate - https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=121904.

Is there a package or two that I need to install to make the Python Plugins available without having to resort to building from source?

Thanks in advance.

joe
