Hello, after rebooting my laptop the audio stopped working (it has been on for about 10 days, so I don't know what caused this).
If i run alsactl store I get:
alsactl: state_lock:125: file /var/lib/alsa/asound.state lock error: File exists
I also found some errors when running alsactl restore
alsactl: state_lock:125: file /var/lib/alsa/asound.state lock error: File exists
alsactl: load_state:1683: Cannot open /var/lib/alsa/asound.state for reading: File exists
alsactl: sysfs_init:48: sysfs path '/sys' is invalid
Found hardware: "HDA-Intel" "Intel PantherPoint HDMI" "HDA:10ec0275,104d6400,00100008 HDA:80862806,104d6400,00100000" "0x104d"
Hardware is initialized using a generic method
I googled this but I was not able to solve anything, I also did try to remove asound.state but nothing changes.
Any ideas on how can I fix this? If some more output is needed please just ask, thanks!
Edit: I fixed it by blacklisting snd-intel8x0m, the other errors are still there unless I run the commands with sudo, I don't know if it is the normal behavior.
