Doosl presenter buttons not working

I have a big presentation coming up and I got this Doosl presenter but none of its buttons are recognized by xev.

dmesg seem to think it is a keyboard and earlier thread suggests that this should be enough for it to work.

Any suggestions? I'm using xmonad as a window manager and impressive for my presentation.

Here is the output of dmesg:

Re: Doosl presenter buttons not working

If this is of any help, it works perfectly on plugging into my arch desktop which runs  4.1.6-1-ARCH compared to my laptop (on which it doesn't work) which runs 4.2.5-1-ARCH.
Here is the output of dmesg from the desktop

Re: Doosl presenter buttons not working

Diff the loaded modules between the two machines after plugging it in.

Re: Doosl presenter buttons not working

Hi, did you ever find the reason why it wasn't working. I also have a Knorvay wireless pointer and am encountering the same symptoms as yours. Same lines in dmesg upon plugging it in, but the buttons don't have any effects sad
