USB mount problem

before when I inserted an USB device it would mount and put an icon on the desktop (KDE) after an update this failed. I added lanrat's rules to udev rules and I could mount again. Now I can still mount but not move data to it. I set permissions but as soon as I access the device the permissions fail   :?:
I would like to go back to the first method  :?:  :?:  :?:

Re: USB mount problem

Hi
You might want to give AutoFS a try. There is a how-to in the archwiki.
