Hi, i will have a new computer on monday or tuesday with a ssd and hdd. I want to make a dual-boot mageia/arch linux. I thought to install mageia/archlinux on the ssd and make a lvm partition on the hdd to save my datas, like that i'll be able to add a hdd later. It will be alright? I don't know ssd technologie.
[edit] Sorry but i can't put [Resolved] before the title, probably because of the lengh, so i put [Resolved : /

It would be alright. SSD technology in the end user perspective is no different that HDD. My use case is using SDD for every day use and HDD for backup/rarely used files, like watched movies, music, etc. I keep my $HOME partition in SDD and mount HDD on another directory (e.g., /home/data).
