Firefox crashes constantly when built with clang

Hello everyone, hopefully this is the right place to post this - my sincere apologies if it isn't.

I have been looking into compiling Firefox using clang which is supposed to be officially supported upstream. However, although it builds fine (using clang35 from the repos as 3.7 isn't supported yet), it crashes every few minutes - consistently on two different systems with two different versions (the current stable 42.0 and the 43.0 betas). It usually simply exits without a message, although sometimes it displays a segfault and just once it turned out this:

[NPAPI 1874] ###!!! ABORT: Aborting on channel error.: file /build/firefox-beta/src/firefox-43.0b8/ipc/glue/MessageChannel.cpp, line 1768

Has anyone else tried this or have any idea what might be at fault?
