Empty fstab after upgrade

I had a weird thing happen on my notebook today after upgrading: the fstab was empty.

The last update I ran was in October, so admittedly maybe too much time between upgrades. Still I've never had this happen.

I've fixed the fstab, and am just posting this here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

I am running five other archlinux systems and none had this issue so definitely not a general issue.

Are you sure it was pacman that was responsible? Have you grepped your shell history or ruled out PEBKAC completely?
