iPod

I installed WineX, and now I want to install AutoCAD to be able to create some drawings I need. I don't want to use Windows, but if I have to, I will. I have the AutoCAD installation on my iPod, but my iPod can't be found. I installed gtkpod, and it can't mount my iPod either. It's a 5G Video.

Re: iPod

After you plug in your ipod (assuming via usb) type dmesg in a terminal and see/post what the last few lines are.  This will generally show where your ipod was registered in your system.

Also, which DE are you using?

Re: iPod

I can't mount my Ipod (nano) either.
dmesg outputs:

usb 1-2.4: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 1-2.4: no configuration chosen from 2 choices

:x

Re: iPod

make sure that the correct modules are loaded for your usb host controller and (maybe) usb-storage. Then try that procedure again.
