Touchpad disable hotkey doesn't work after rebooting from Windows

My touchpad disable hotkey on my laptop works normally. But after I boot windows the hotkey doesn't work anymore.

xev doesn't show anything when I press the hotkey no matter if it is working or not.

When it doesn't work, dmesg says it can't recognize the key 0x97 and 0x98 when I press the key.

I can only make it work again by booting the opensuse live installation usb then rebooting back to arch; however, it is so inconvenient to deal with it this way.

My laptop is Sager NP8270.
I am using sddm with awesome wm.
I have installed libinput driver, synaptic driver.

I have tried to map the scan code TouchpadToogle, TouchpadOn, TouchpadOff but none of them works.

Please help give me direction or which wiki page to read as I have tried all way I can think of but no luck.

Thank you.
