I'm having issue's with my remote.
I made a correct mapping file in /etc/rc_keymaps/remote
Then I added the file to be loaded in /etc/rc_maps.cfg
When I load the file by entering ir-keytable it works.
But now I have two issue's.
- First of on reboot, the remote doesn't work anymore and I have to re-enter above command, which I don't understand as the remote does get recognized and loaded by kernel.
- And second when in X, the only button on the remote not working is the ESC button. (button on remote which works as keyboard stroke ESC)
It does work correctly when testing with ir-keytable -t, something in X seems to distort the functionality.
Anyone have any experience how to fix it?
