Hi all,
I just did a fresh install of arch to test out 2.14.1
Everything seems really good except for gnome-volume-manager not actually mounting devices.
I ran gnome-volume-manager -n to show errors and this is what i get:
manager.c/2705: mount_all: mounting /dev/hdc
manager.c/1565: mounting /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_P5GD1_VM...
manager.c/1693: mount failed for /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_P5GD1_VM: A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")
Anyone else getting this behaviour, and or have any idea what security policy?? This is an absolutely fresh install, and I haven't modified anything security related.
Thanks for any input!

hal doesn't allow you to access these properties unless you're in the "storage" group. This is what we use instead of the pam_console thingy some distributions use (gnome-volume-manager has this bad check also, we replaced it with a check for a local $DISPLAY)
