Gray icons look bad

Grayed out icons look bad in chrome, file managers, etc. In other distros I don't see this issue anywhere. Heres what it looks like: Gray these are the back and forward buttons in chromium any where where a icon is grayed out it looks like this. Its not XFCE, it happens in gnome as well. Its not my theme I've tried many themes. Heres the same buttons in Xubuntu: GrayAnyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I only have adwaita-icon-theme (pulled by gtk3) and hicolor-icon-theme installed.

I fixed the problem it turns out it was GTK and all of my themes had this issue. I set my icon theme and GTK theme to the same theme that xubuntu uses which is the "Greybird" GTK theme and "Elementary Darker" icon theme. Switching to Greybird fixed my issue the icons arent the problem. Thanks anyway!
