[Solved] plasma - path to breeze-theme default user icon

Hi,

I want to replace the default user icon of SDDM you see in this screenshot with the default user icon that is used by the plasma lockscreen.

My idea was to replace /usr/share/sddm/faces/default.face.icon with the file from the breeze-theme, but I can't find it.
Does anybody know where it is stored?

Or is there a better way to get SDDM using the default user icon from the breeze-theme?

Happy new year!
Micha

Re: [Solved] plasma - path to breeze-theme default user icon

you can put a png-file or svg-file or ? to /usr/share/sddm/faces/ with the name <useraccount>.face.icon it will be shown in the sddm login screen for user <useraccount>
the icon you are looking for could be this one: /usr/share/icons/breeze/actions/24/im-user.svg

the question for me is: why the kde screen locker doesn't show the user icon, which I chose for the user account?
Edit: Ah, the user icon has to be a SVG-file to be shown in the lock screen

Yes that's it, thanks. smile
I've made a 96x96 png from it and saved as /usr/share/sddm/faces/default.face.icon
