Out of sudden my Thunderbird wont run because of this message:
Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.
Version latest pacman 38.5.0, tried downgrading to 38.4. I also renamed my profile directory so Thundrbird will create a new one - didn't work.
thunderbird --ProfileManager
ends with the same result.
What could broken? Thanks for any help.
edit:
I found that Firefox is having the same error:
Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.

Maybe a clue for someone - I can run Thunderbird/Firefox as another user.. in this case root
gksudo thunderbird
So it looks like problem with rights. If I delete .thunderbird folder, it could create another one after start. But it creates only folder .thunderbird and no file in it.. empty...
e@arch ~ $ l | grep thunderbird
drwx------ 2 e users 4096 Jan 2 22:17 .thunderbird
I don't know if the 0700 is the right permission. Can anyone check the permission on your installation? Thanks
