I've been warned:
WARNING: keymap: hook specified, but no KEYMAP found in configuration
Rebooting my machine (encrypted root) updated to 4.3.3-2-ARCH didn't allow me to enter my LUKS passphrase using the USB keyboard (PS2 keyboard ok). USB only worked by either removing the superfluous keymap hook in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf or by adding a correct /etc/vconsole.conf (and running mkinitcpio -p linux of course).
