MSI GS60 2QC-013XFR Ghost - kernel drivers for fan control speed

Good evening,

I have this laptop and the fans are spinning at 100% all the time.

I checked the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/fan_speed_control) to find how to control them because it is quite annoying but I don't have that many info when I type sensors. I only have the temperatures shown, sensors-detect find a few things but when I restart and run sensors again, I get the same informations.

It seems that the drivers to control the fan don't exist yet or they are not compiled with the Archlinux Kernel. I downloaded the kernel 4.4 but I don't know where to go to try to find the drivers I would need to be able to control the fan speed.

Is there a way to copy my arch config (zcat /proc...) and automatically set <M> for everything (that's not currently compiled as a module <M> or required <*>) ? Maybe I can compile it then and see if some new drivers are loaded. I also tried pwmconfig but apparently, none of my fan be controlled like that.

Any idea ? smile

Thank you very much.
