[SOLVED] Total crashing on thinkpad

I've been having this issue for a while but it has gotten worse.
I have arch installed on my thinkpad W520 and a few seconds to a few minutes after logging into LightDM my system completely crashes.
CTRL+ALT+Backspace and CTRL+ALT+F1 do nothing at all.
It used to do this just every other reboot but now it happens every time I boot.
I'm running xfce4 and using a standard bumblebee setup.
I have also experienced this issue with a debian install on the same system.
I'll post any logs you want, but the ones I checked haven't had any errors.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Because I haven't been able to find anyone else on the internet with this issue.

Re: [SOLVED] Total crashing on thinkpad

I may have just solved it, seem to be a power setting within xfce.
